Why is In-Home Training a Good Idea for You?

  • Privacy:
    The atmosphere at traditional health clubs can sometimes be overwhelming and uncomfortable, especially for beginners. Understanding this concern, Nicola ensures client privacy and confidentiality are respected at all times.
  • Maximize your time:
    In-home training eliminates the commute to and from a gym (and the cost of joining a gym). Each session is pre-planned and designed to make the most of your time.
  • Maximize your progress:
    Many people arrive at the gym with no specific exercise routine in mind, no specific goals to accomplish, and not much knowledge or awareness of exercise techniques. With a personal trainer to design a customized exercise routine and to closely monitor your development, results start to show quickly.
  • Safety:
    Trying to do too much too soon can cause injuries and setbacks. By creating a safe and effective individualized program, Nicola will ensure proper technique and biomechanical principles are followed.
  • No intimidation:
    Fitness facilities can often be intimidating, which can affect your frame of mind and the effectiveness of your workout. In the comfort of your own home, Nicola will educate you about your muscle groups and the importance of a strong body. As your program progresses, so will your confidence level.
  • Motivation:
    As your personal trainer, Nicola will motivate you to get moving! She will ensure that you remain focused, stay on-track and successfully complete each and every workout.

How do I Get Started?

Call Nicola to set up a comprehensive consultation (free of charge). This includes a medical and fitness history, along with lifestyle and body composition analyses. Next, you work together with Nicola to define your fitness goals. Using this information, Nicola designs on-going personal exercise prescriptions fine tuned according to your progress.

Is There the Potential for Small Groups?

Yes. Special packages are available to work out in pairs or in groups of 3. Please see Packages for more details.

What About Nutritional Guidance?

Proper nutrition is a key factor in seeing results and Nicola will provide general nutritional guidance and information about food choices and caloric intake. If you require detailed and specific nutritional planning, a separate appointment with a Registered Dietician can be easily arranged.

How are Training Sessions Scheduled?

After deciding how many sessions per week you would like to train, you will select an available timeslot which will usually remain constant for the duration of your sessions. You can switch timeslots at any time provided Nicola has an available timeslot which better accommodates your schedule.

What is FitNic's Cancellation Policy?

24 hours notice is required to cancel and re-schedule a session. Failure to give notice will result in a forfeit of the payment and session.

Personal training sessions are non-transferable and unused sessions are non-refundable.
